Platforms change. Your business logic shouldn't start over.
Strata is DI Squared’s family of migration accelerators. They move analytics and data integration workloads between platforms: reading the estate first, converting with rules rather than guesses, and reconciling the result against what you had before anything is cut over.
Discovery maps the apps and the hand-offs between them before anything converts
Rule-based pattern matching, with model assistance kept for the hard tail
Anything it cannot resolve with confidence goes to a person to review
Output compared against what the source system produces today
Moving platforms is not a project. It is a rebuild nobody budgeted for.
Every platform decision eventually meets the estate that was built on the last one. Hundreds of apps, thousands of expressions, and a layer of transformation logic that encodes how the business actually works. Done by hand, that move is measured in quarters and ends in a leap of faith. Strata exists to make it measurable instead.
Quarters of hand redevelopment
Moving an estate by hand means rebuilding expressions, pipelines and reports one at a time. That work is measured in quarters of consulting hours, and the invoice arrives well before any of the value does. Automation changes the shape of the bill, not just its size.
Numbers that quietly change
The failure people actually fear is not a dashboard that breaks. It is a number that shifts by two percent and goes unnoticed until someone in finance finds it. By then the trust is gone and the new platform wears the blame for it.
Logic nobody wrote down
Years of business rules sit inside scripts and expressions built by people who have since moved on. A manual rebuild is an archaeology project before it is an engineering one, and the parts nobody can explain are the parts that get quietly dropped.
Different moves, same discipline
The accelerators target different platforms, but each one works the same way. That shared method is what makes the output reviewable rather than something you have to take on faith.
01 /
It reads the estate before it converts anything
Discovery maps the apps, the data connections and the hand-offs between them, including the copy families where the same thing has been duplicated across teams. You find out what you actually have before deciding what deserves to move.
02 /
Rules first, model second
Most of the conversion is rule-based pattern matching rather than generated text. Model assistance is reserved for the hard tail of cases the rules do not cover, and where it is used, the spend is metered and shown.
03 /
Nothing is silently guessed
Anything the rules cannot resolve with confidence is flagged for a person to review rather than quietly approximated. Honest confidence scoring is more useful than a clean-looking result you have no reason to trust.

Reconciled before cutover
Converted output ships with a validation report comparing it against what the source system produces today, so the conversation at cutover is about evidence rather than confidence.
Built from consulting, not from a whiteboard
Every accelerator in the suite started as work DI Squared was already being asked to do by hand, for clients with real estates and real deadlines. The tool is the part we got tired of repeating.
That means each one is shaped by the awkward cases rather than the clean demo: the duplicated apps, the undocumented rules, and the reports finance will not sign off until the numbers tie out.

QVD to Cloud
Your Qlik load scripts encode real business logic: extraction, joins, mappings, incremental loads. This accelerator parses that logic and regenerates it as governed, testable pipelines on dbt, Snowflake, Databricks or Azure Data Factory, organized into a medallion architecture. The transformation workload moves to the warehouse where it can be versioned and tested, and Qlik keeps doing the analysis.
Other routes, still building
Strata covers other moves between analytics and data integration platforms, and we are adding to it as engagements call for it. If the move you are weighing is not on this page yet, it is still worth a conversation. We would rather tell you honestly where a tool exists and where it does not.
Tell us the move you are weighing
Strata is offered as an accelerator within DI Squared consulting engagements. We start by reading your estate and telling you what converts cleanly, what needs judgment, and what is not worth moving at all. That assessment is useful whether or not you go ahead.
